On the 13th of October 2010, Snežnik adopted a resolution on the issuance of certificate no. Q-520 for the management system according to the requirements of the standard ISO 9001:2008 for the areas of development: Production and sale of massive beech laminates of decidous and coniferous tree, decimated elements, wood sections and sawn timber as well as, forestry services within the scope of Snežnik d.d. corporation and its subsidiary Snežnik Sinpo d.o.o.

Standard Forest Stewardship Council - FSC (Canada, Toronto, 1993) reflects the ecological responsibility to sonorous management in forests and ensures the customer that the producer follows criteria which:

  • maintain and strengthen the role of forests in the global carbon cycle,
  • maintain the health and vitality of forest ecosystems,
  • maintain and strengthen all forest functions,
  • maintain and strengthen biological diversity in forest ecosystems,
  • maintain socially beneficial and economically viable functions and conditions of forests.

The requirements of the Forest Stewardship Council (Canada, Toronto, 1993) reflect the high degree of ecological consciousness and responsibility of companies to the balanced management of forests.
